SS grows much bigger than PS, and PS usually has a more acute cap than SS. but when you have a few hundred heads, some small SS will look more like PS, and some large and unusually rounded PS will look more like SS than like most of their own kind. Fortunately, they can easily be distinguished by taste and texture.
